Marian Central Catholic is seeking a motivated and dependable individual to serve as the Assistant Head Track & Field Coach. Distance coaching experience is preferred but not required.

The upcoming season will be the current head coach’s final year. The selected candidate will work closely with and learn from the current head coach, with the expectation of transitioning into the Head Coach role for both the Track & Field and Cross Country programs the following school year.

Schedule

Practices are held Monday through Friday from 3:00–5:00 p.m.

Attendance at all scheduled meets is required.

Some meets and program activities may take place on weekends.

Responsibilities

Assist with planning and leading daily practices.

Provide instruction, motivation, and supervision to student-athletes.

• Support the development of distance runners and other event groups as needed.
• Help coordinate meet preparation, athlete entries, equipment, and team logistics.
• Promote sportsmanship, academic responsibility, teamwork, and personal growth.
• Learn the administrative and leadership responsibilities necessary to manage both the Track & Field and Cross Country programs.
