Job summary

NASCAR is seeking a General Maintenance professional at Richmond Raceway to perform preventive maintenance, track services, and general facility upkeep. You will operate a variety of equipment, including vehicles and lifts, and support track preparation and restoration for events.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 2 years of related experience or training in building services, with knowledge of electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; two years' experience and/or training in building services or business operations.
• General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, utilities, and facility maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to perform hands-on work and safely move equipment and materials.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours for events.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance functions for building and track services; operates a variety of equipment.
• Welds, cuts and fabricates.
• Tests repaired equipment to ensure operating efficiency.
• Requisitions parts and equipment with Supervisors approval.
• Keeps records and reports.
• Provides general housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe facility.
• Employee will be responsible for track preparation, maintenance, and restoration.
• Track cleaning (sweeping, blowing, absorbing fluids, etc.).
• General maintenance around the facility, including painting.
• Ability to operate and maintain many different pieces of equipment including vehicles, lifts, and other heavy machinery.
• Installing and storing signage throughout the property.
• Assist with fleet management and inventory.
• Other duties as assigned.
