Job summary

Los Alamos National Laboratory in Los Alamos, NM seeks a detail-oriented administrative professional to support the Trace Analytical Chemistry team. You will track actions, format and distribute correspondence, and maintain files while coordinating calendars and meetings.

You will assist as a Designated Procurement Representative (DPR), support inventory tasks, and manage consumables. A strong, proactive communicator with on-site reliability is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating tasks and schedules under tight deadlines.
• Ability to contribute to initiatives across business, operations, or programs.
• Proven ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team and manage multiple projects with interruptions.

Responsibilities

• Track action items and distribute internal and external correspondence.
• Maintain electronic and hard-copy files and coordinate calendars, schedules, and meeting logistics.
• Participate in special projects and support the team as a Designated Procurement Representative (DPR).
• Assist with inventory management and consumable tracking, organizing storage in a warehouse.
• Provide sample management support for receipt, storage, protection, and issuance of 12,000+ samples.
