Job summary

Applied Materials is seeking a skilled technical support professional to manage all technical support aspects for a specific customer, including escalations, fleet performance, system installations, improvement programs and upgrades.

You will act as the liaison between the customer and internal divisions by providing technical support and documentation to field engineers, technicians and product support personnel; travel up to 20% is required and relocation is possible.

Responsibilities

• Manage all technical support aspects for a specific customer: escalations, fleet performance, installations, upgrades.
• Serve as intermediary between customer and division; provide technical support and documentation to field engineers and product support staff.
• Provide Alpha/Beta Site Support for installation, operation, calibration, testing of new hardware/processes.
• Review ECOs to ensure data supports fixes and communicate with the field.
• Generate and present system performance data, including MTBF, MTBI, Availability, and process spending analysis.
• Create and review documentation on technical improvements, upgrades, and support plans; present to customers.
