Job summary

Toyota Boshoku America is seeking a manufacturing supervisor to direct Team Leaders and Members in an assigned area, driving safety, quality, and productivity while implementing TPS-based improvements.

Responsibilities include staffing coordination, performance management, and cross-functional collaboration to meet KPI targets, while maintaining a safe, efficient, and compliant operation.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Business, Manufacturing, or related field required, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum three (3) years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Minimum two (2) years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Automotive industry experience preferred with parts production, quality, or production control experience a plus.
• Strong knowledge of TPS and Production Efficiency (PEFF) systems is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Directs Team Leaders and Team Members in assigned manufacturing area.
• Plan and coordinate staffing, monitor hours, overtime, rotation, and absenteeism.
• Ensure compliance with all company rules, policies, and practices, and take corrective action as needed.
• Manage and appraise team member performance and develop improvement plans.
• Lead continuous improvement activities and achieve KPI targets.
• Maintain safe working environment and ensure PPE compliance.
