MasTec Communications Group is seeking a Tower Technician III to install, maintain, and operate telecom equipment on towers, including electrical and safety tasks. You will work in a safety-minded environment and mentor junior techs, with a focus on quality work on both wired and wireless infrastructure.

The role demands physical stamina, ability to climb towers, and a willingness to work long shifts. Compensation is hourly with benefits and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Safety is a day-to-day priority.
• Demonstrates high-quality workmanship on complex towers.
• Able to read and follow printed instructions precisely.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and operate wired, wireless, fiber optic, and microwave telecom equipment.
• Climb towers and ladders, assemble monopoles, and install antennas.
• Prepare and clean sites; offload materials and inventory.
• Mentor less experienced technicians and support team.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
