Job summary

MasTec Communications Group is seeking a Tower Technician III to install, maintain, and operate wired, wireless, fiber optic, and microwave telecom equipment. This role emphasizes safety, hands-on problem solving, and teamwork to deliver reliable network infrastructure on complex sites.

You will climb towers, assist in tower erection with cranes and helicopters, read instructions, and mentor less-experienced technicians while contributing to high-quality, on-time project completion across

Qualifications

• Safety is a daily priority.
• High-quality workmanship on tower projects.
• Able to read and follow printed instructions.
• Capability to climb towers and lift up to 50 lbs.
• NWSA TTT1 certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and operate telecom equipment on wired, wireless, fiber optic, and microwave systems.
• Climb towers, assist in tower erection with cranes/helicopters, and prepare sites.
• Offload materials, install carriers, and implement safety policies.
• Mentor new technicians and support teamwork on site.
