Job summary

InfraServices is seeking a Tower Technician I to assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing wireless towers and related infrastructure. The position requires climbing towers up to 500 feet and adhering to strict safety guidelines under the supervision of senior technicians and foremen.

Responsibilities include assisting with antennas, radios, transmission lines, and mounts, and supporting various tower types.

Qualifications

• Must have or obtain Authorized Climber or Competent Climber/Rescue Certification from an accredited institution
• Must have or obtain OSHA 10 Construction Training Card
• Must have or obtain First Aid and CPR Certification

Responsibilities

• Climb and perform work on communication towers and elevated structures up to 500 feet
• Assist with installation and maintenance of antennas, radios, transmission lines, connectors, and mounts
• Assist with assembly of monopoles, self-support towers, and guyed towers
• Use hand and power tools to complete work at ground and elevated levels
• Follow safety practices and fall protection equipment
• Maintain and organize tools, equipment, and vehicles
• Travel regularly to job sites, including overnight stays
