Job summary

Ontivity in Springfield, MO is seeking a Tower Technician to assist in erection, construction, and maintenance of wireless towers in accordance with safety and quality standards.

You will perform high-elevation work, install up-top equipment, conduct grounding and testing, and help gather closeout documentation. This role requires travel in-state/out-of-state and willingness to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must work in a team environment and be a valued crew member.
• Safety in rigging coursework completed.
• Ability to read drawings, piping diagrams, specs and testing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safety first—prioritize safety in all tasks.
• Perform tower-top work including rigging, cabling and testing.
• Install up-top equipment: masts, antennas, RRUs, cabling and labeling.
• Grounding, terminations, bolting and antioxidant use.
• Assist with site groundwork and closeout documentation.
• Assist in installation of all tower-related aspects of the site.
• Travel, overtime, and variable hours as required.
