Job summary

ES3, LLC is hiring for a Tower Loader in York, PA. You will load merchandise onto trailers, operate forklifts and pallet jacks, and ensure safe, efficient loading while keeping your area clean.

The role requires 1+ year forklift experience, strong safety awareness, teamwork, and the ability to follow SOPs. Starting pay is $19/hr with potential earn-ings over $25/hr after training; 3rd shift available with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Load full pallets of merchandise into trailers without damage
• Operate sit-down forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and/or clamp machines
• Inspect trailers for damage before loading
• Use RF handhelds or voice systems to verify pallet loading
• Wrap pallets with stretch wrap
• Move quickly to prevent truck backlog
• Complete equipment inspections and forms
• Lift varying case weights safely as needed
• Keep work area clean
• Perform other duties as assigned

Position OverviewOur focus is simple but meaningful, from our distribution centers to our offices — every employee of C&S and their family of companies works to help feed local families, neighbors and communities. As a Tower Loader, you will move pallets of merchandise from staging areas and load proper trailers. This is a fast-paced role, perfect for energetic individuals who are highly organized and like to stay activeJob Description

• Starting rate $19/hr with an earning potential of $25+/hr after training!

• Full Time, 3rd shift available

• Schedule: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday OR Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Friday

• 6pm start until done (overtime as required)

• Location: 4875 N Susquehanna Trail, York, PA 17406

You will contribute by:

• Loading full pallets of merchandise into trailers and ensure damage is avoided.

• Utilizing forklifts, electric pallet jacks and/or clamp machines to move merchandise

• Inspecting trailers for damage before loading.

• Utilizing RF handhelds and/or voice to verify loading of pallets.

• Wrapping pallets with stretch wrap.

• Moving at a fast pace to prevent backlog of trucks and/or product

• Performing equipment inspections & completing appropriate forms

• Occasional safe lifting of varying case weight, shape, and height levels

• Keeping work area clean

• Performing other job related duties as assigned

• Continually Standing, bending, pulling, lifting, pivoting up to 90% of shift

• Walking on various surfaces including concrete, tile, carpet, etc.

• Frequently lifting of product weighing between 1 - 60 lbs. or more

• Frequent lifting of product ranging from floor to overhead

• Safe handling of sharp objects including box cutting tools

• Previous loading experience utilizing forklifts, electric pallet jack, etc.
