Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers in York, PA is seeking a Warehouse Unloader to join a fast-paced team responsible for unloading inbound trailers, recording codes, and moving merchandise with forklifts. This full-time role offers a starting rate of $19/hr with potential to earn $20+/hr after training.

Schedule: 4/10s with at least one weekend day, 6:30pm start, overtime as needed. Benefits from day one and career progression opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience operating a sit-down forklift.
• Strong sense of safety and ability to follow standard safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Receive product, record codes and pallet breakdowns per procedures.
• Operate forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and/or clamp machines to move merchandise.
• Move pallets from the dock to correct aisles and manage pace to prevent backlog.
• Conduct equipment inspections and complete required forms.
• Safely lift varying case weights and heights as needed.

Job Description

Starting rate $19/hr with an earning potential of $20+/hr after training! Full Time, 3rd shift available Schedule: 4/10's with at least one weekend day, 6:30pm start time until end of shift. overtime as required Location: 4875 N Susquehanna Trail, York, PA 17406

You will contribute by:

• Receiving product, recording code dates & breaking down pallets of product according to appropriate receiving procedures
• Utilizing forklifts, electric pallet jacks and/or clamp machines to move merchandise
• Maneuvering pallets of product from the dock to correct aisles
• Moving at a fast pace to prevent backlog of trucks and/or product
• Performing equipment inspections & completing appropriate forms
• Occasional safe lifting of varying case weight, shape, and height levels

• Continually Standing, bending, pulling, lifting, pivoting up to 90% of shift
• Walking on various surfaces including concrete, tile, carpet, etc.
• Frequently lifting of product weighing between 1 - 60 lbs. or more
• Frequent lifting of product ranging from floor to overhead
• Possibility of working on multiple levels of varying height
• Safe handling of sharp objects including box cutting tools
