Job summary

Green Mountain Communications is seeking an experienced Leadman to join our climbing crews responsible for installing and maintaining wireless communications equipment across New England.

The role supports the foreman in daily site operations, mentors crew members, and requires safe climbing, strong teamwork, and reliable attendance. Training and certifications are provided, with opportunity for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years experience in civil or general construction.
• Minimum of 18 months on a tower crew.
• Demonstrated ability to safely climb, position, and work at heights.
• Demonstrated ability to perform various skills used in the telecommunications industry.
• Demonstrated understanding and use of safe work practices on site and in vehicles.
• Record of dependable attendance.
• Ability to lead less-experienced teammates.
• Able to act as competent person in charge of a job site if needed.
• Computer skills including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Experience safely operating machinery and equipment preferred.
• Able to resolve conflicts and work with diverse personalities.
• Able to meet physical demands including climbing, walking, standing, bending, lifting, pulling, reaching.

Responsibilities

• Assist foreman with site management duties including inventory, tower and ground operations, testing, and mentoring crew members.
• Climbing of towers and other structures.
• Use of hand and power tools.
