Job summary

Sixthman is seeking an Operations Specialist- Touring to collaborate with internal teams, cruise line partners, and vendors to plan, advance, and execute operational components of multi-event tours.

You will lead minute-by-minute plans, coordinate staffing for 50+ contractors, and ensure on-time delivery of run-of-show details while maintaining guest and talent experiences across 4-6 events annually.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in event planning preferred.
• Must have strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to coordinate and direct contract staff in a fast-paced event environment.
• Good organization and delegation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changes or challenges.
• Problem-solving and critical thinking.
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy.
• Experience with project management software such as Monday.com preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build out and advance all operational details for 4-6 events per year, including schedules, minute-by-minute plans, and staffing details.
• Serve as primary operational liaison with third-party Producers to coordinate complex activities and ensure alignment between talent, vendors, and internal teams.
• Represent Operations during the event development phase alongside cross-functional teams and research feasibility of promises to guests/partners.
• Manage the 12-month cycle of each event calendar to meet deadlines for design, sponsors, F&B, activities, etc.
• Act as primary operational contact for activations such as Sponsorship or Charity.
• Coordinate needs of Auxiliary Talent to ensure teams are supported pre- and during events and improve procedures.
• Organize event staffing including roles, scheduling, training, and communicating with 50+ contract staff; lead advance meetings with ship leadership.
• Assist in building training tools for Tour Managers and Operations Team.
