Job summary

Churchill Downs Incorporated's United Tote unit is seeking detail-oriented personnel for tote system data entry, verification, reports, and equipment handling at the racetrack or corporate office.

Responsibilities include training new employees, maintaining and troubleshooting tote boards, loading supplies, labeling parts, and assisting in shipments, with compliance to state racing regulations and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must understand pari-mutuel wagering and United Tote's role.
• Communicate professionally with association personnel.
• Familiarity with tote room hardware and printers.

Responsibilities

• Tote system data entry and verification.
• Preparation of reports/paperwork for racetrack and/or corporate office.
• Assist in shipping, loading or unloading of company equipment and/or supplies.
• Labeling, packaging, shipping and re-ordering of spare parts.
• Assist in training of new employees and Line Technicians
• Maintain, operate, setup or troubleshoot tote boards and auxiliary odds boards.
• Operation of the communications equipment used at the racetrack.
