Job summary

JR Automation Technologies, LLC, a Hitachi Group Company, is seeking a Senior Manager, Total Rewards to lead design and administration of total rewards and payroll programs that attract and retain talent. Based in Holland, MI with up to 20% travel, the role partners with HR, Accounting, Finance, Operations and Legal to ensure competitive programs and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• 10+ years of total rewards, compensation, benefits, or related HR experience.
• Experience leading total rewards strategy, program design, and implementation at a management level.
• Strong knowledge of compensation structures, sales compensation, salary surveys, executive compensation, equity programs, and benefits administration.
• Certifications such as CCP, CBP, SHRM, or HRCI are preferred.
• Corporate payroll management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a total rewards strategy aligned with business and talent goals.
• Provide market insights to strengthen total rewards programs.
• Design, administer, and continuously improve compensation, benefits, payroll, wellness, and recognition programs.
• Oversee salary structures, incentive plans, sales compensation, market pricing, and annual compensation reviews.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with HR, Accounting, Finance, Operations, and Legal.
• Lead benefits administration, including health and wellness, retirement, open enrollment, COBRA, FMLA, ESTA, and 401(k) plans.
• Oversee payroll operations to ensure accurate and compliant processing.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members supporting total rewards administration.
