Job summary

Ironclad in San Francisco is seeking a leader to own Total Rewards strategy, compensation, equity, benefits, and related programs at scale.

This high-impact role partners with the CPO, Finance, Legal and executive teams to build governance, benchmarking, and program design that supports a high-performance culture. You will drive data-driven decisions and scalable processes, delivering a globally consistent employee experience across markets.

Qualifications

• Extensive Total Rewards experience in a high-growth tech environment.
• Experience leading broad compensation and benefits programs.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into recommendations.
• Proven ability to design scalable Total Rewards processes and governance.
• Executive-level collaboration with Finance, Legal, and board materials.

Responsibilities

• Own Ironclad’s Total Rewards strategy across compensation, equity, benefits, and related policies.
• Lead design and administration of broad-based and leadership compensation programs.
• Evolve compensation philosophy, benchmarking approach, and pay practices.
• Partner with CPO, Finance, Legal and leaders on annual planning and materials.
• Own benefits strategy, ensuring competitive and compliant programs.
• Stabilize key compensation/benefits cycles and build operating foundations.
• Create documentation, manager tools, governance, and reporting frameworks.
• Translate Total Rewards programs into clear guidance for managers and staff.
• Use data and market intelligence to inform recommendations and decisions.
• Strengthen reporting, vendor management, and process health.
• Collaborate with People Operations, Talent Acquisition and Internal Comms.
• Build and lead a high-performing Total Rewards team.
