Qualifications

• 3 years of Benefits Administration experience or related field is required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint or Google Apps.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, operate within tight deadlines, and elevate issues as necessary.
• Self-motivated and results driven.
• Experience with UKG or similar Human Resources Information Systems.
• Valid driver’s license required with no provisional restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Administers employee benefits enrollment and qualifying life events (QLEs), including new hire enrollments, eligibility changes, and benefit updates.
• Partners with benefits vendors, TPAs, Payroll, HR, and other internal stakeholders to resolve complex enrollment, eligibility, billing, and benefits issues.
• Serves as a resource to employees and managers regarding benefits plans, eligibility requirements, coverage options, policies, and procedures.
• Supports compliance with applicable federal and state regulations, including COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA, and the ACA.
• Oversees benefits compliance activities, including ACA tracking, eligibility audits, plan documentation, vendor data management, and required submissions.
• Identifies missed or insufficient benefits deductions and coordinates timely collection of unpaid employee benefit premiums.
• Assists with employee communications, training, and education related to benefits, Open Enrollment, performance reviews, compensation, and other total rewards programs.
• Supports leave administration and serves as a resource to employees and managers regarding leave policies, procedures, and processes.
