Job summary

Bancroft is seeking a TEMP Benefits Coordinator to assist employees and managers with benefits eligibility, enrollment changes, and policy interpretation. The role supports Open Enrollment and coordinates with HR, payroll, and leadership to align total rewards and compensation-related activities.

Responsibilities include processing enrollments, addressing escalations with vendors, and ensuring compliance with COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA, and internal policies.

Qualifications

• 3 years of benefits administration experience or related field.
• High school degree accepted; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint or Google Apps equivalents.
• Teamwork and collaboration-oriented with the ability to work independently.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and elevate issues.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Process benefits enrollments, changes, and annual Open Enrollment activities.
• Serve as a benefits resource for plan design, eligibility, and policy interpretation, ensuring COBRA/ HIPAA/ ERISA compliance.
• Coordinate with Payroll and HR on leave-related processes and documentation.
• Support compensation-related activities and assist with verification notices as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of federal and state leave laws and return-to-work requirements.
• Respond to inquiries via ticketing system, phone, and email.
