Kemper is seeking a Total Loss Claims Adjuster to resolve complex Total Loss cases across multiple states including Texas, Florida, Alabama, and Illinois. You will review coverage, estimates and charges to confirm Total Loss evaluations and manage rental/loss-of-use expenses.

Responsibilities include contacting insureds promptly, applying Fair Claims Practices, and coordinating with attorneys, body shops and lienholders.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year of claim handling experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based tools.
• Must obtain and maintain state licensing where applicable.
• Initiative, sound judgement and discretion.
• Strong time management to meet deadlines on claims.
• Excellent analytical skills to evaluate damages and settlements.
• Effective verbal and written communication with stakeholders.

Mansioni

• Successfully completes courses and licensing requirements as needed for state regulations.
• Reviews loss notices to determine exposure and records exposures in the loss system.
• Contacts insureds and claimants within 24 hours of loss assignment.
• Communicates decisions and settlement information clearly and empathetically to insureds, claimants, attorneys and service providers.
• Handles all claims within state regulations, including knowledge of Total Loss, Salvage and Title laws across states.
