Job summary

Kemper Corporation is seeking a Total Loss Adjuster in the McAllen, Texas area to resolve complex claims efficiently and cost-effectively. You will review details, coverage, estimates, and related charges to determine Total Loss evaluation, and manage rental/Loss of Use and other expenses within established authority.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, a high school diploma, and at least one year of claims handling experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year of claim handling experience.
• Proficiency with basic computer skills including Microsoft Suite and web-based applications.
• Must obtain and maintain state licensing where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Review and resolve activities on assigned Total Loss claims.
• Assess coverage, estimates, and expenses to determine Total Loss evaluation.
• Coordinate rental/loss of use and related expenses within authority limits.
• Communicate effectively with insureds, claimants, attorneys, and service providers.
• Ensure timely claim closure in line with company guidelines and regulatory expectations.
