Kemper is seeking a Casualty Adjuster - Unrepresented to investigate, evaluate, and negotiate non-attorney represented injury claims with varying complexity. This role requires analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

The position involves reviewing medical records, determining damages, and maintaining clear communication with claimants and insureds while ensuring coverage and liability considerations are properly assessed.

Formación

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A minimum of two years of claims handling experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products and web-based applications.
• Must obtain and maintain state licensing, where applicable.
• Initiative, sound judgement, and discretion
• Comprehensive understanding of insurance policies and knowledge of relevant state laws and regulations governing auto insurance claims.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct investigation of varying complexity, unrepresented casualty, physical and property damage claims, utilizing investigative tools, based on claims and state regulatory guidelines and procedures established by the department.
• Develop a comprehensive strategy to identify and resolve coverage, liability, injury, and property damage claims, efficiently and accurately.
• Conduct detailed injury-specific research and interpret related statutory provisions and case law relating to any injury claimed.
• Review medical records, bills and other information provided to determine general and special damages.
• Develop and maintain rapport with claimants and insureds, keeping them informed of the claim process and options for efficient resolution.
• Examine all provisions, endorsements of the claim policy and other records to verify applicable insurance coverage and make financial decisions within authority limits.
• Thoroughly document the progression of each claim and set bodily injury reserve, ensuring an accurate and organized record.
• Collaborate with various departments to efficiently move claim towards the final resolution.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
