Safety Insurance Company is seeking a Total Loss Adjuster based in Boston, MA to investigate, evaluate, and settle auto total loss claims. This in-office role handles the full claim lifecycle with emphasis on compliance, customer service, and timely settlements.

You will review damage estimates, determine actual cash value, and negotiate settlements within authority while maintaining meticulous claim files and providing excellent service to policyholders and claimants.

Qualifikationen

• College degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 1+ years of auto claims handling experience, total loss experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple claims and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally.
• Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Job Summary

The Total Loss Adjuster is responsible for investigating, evaluating, and resolving auto claims in which the vehicle has been deemed a total loss. This role involves managing the claim process through final settlement, ensuring compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements and delivering excellent customer service to policyholders and claimants. This is an in‑office role based out of our Boston, MA office.
