Job summary

CHG is seeking a Packer to maintain efficient production lines and ensure packaging adheres to specifications. You will rotate through manual packaging, sealing, boxing, and palletizing, while using pallet jacks and reporting issues via ERP and TGI systems.

Responsibilities include data entry, QA support, and upholding safety, GMP, HACCP, and SQF standards; must lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment with occasional weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Grade School level; High School Diploma/ GED a plus.
• 1-2 years' experience operating or working with food manufacturing machinery equipment or similar experience.
• 1-2 years' experience following work task specifications, SOP's, recipes, etc.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment including Auto Baggers, Ilapak and related packaging machinery.
• Enter production data into TGI (Machine Log) and maintain product pathways in the system.
• Meet productivity goals by following the production schedule and specifications.
• Rotate between lines and assist coworkers or clean other lines as needed.
• Lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and maintain clean, organized workstations.
• Maintain SQF compliance and participate in safety programs.
