Job summary

Topographic OM, Inc. in Benbrook, TX, is seeking a Survey Technician I to perform technically complex land surveying tasks and review maps for accuracy and regulatory compliance.

You will process field crew data using Trimble Business Center and AutoCAD to create survey drawings and legal descriptions, while performing QA/QC and coordinating with teams. Travel to worksites may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience reviewing survey maps and legal descriptions.
• Proficient in processing field data and QA/QC for surveying deliverables.
• Strong mathematical skills for survey analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Research county, city, and other sources of record information for easements and deeds to prepare working sketches.
• Process field crew data with Trimble Business Center and generate files for AutoCAD import.
• Create survey base drawings, subdivision maps, ALTA surveys, and topographic surveys.
• Prepare legal descriptions and exhibits for rights of way and parcels.
• Perform QA/QC on work produced by self and others.
