Job summary

Apex Systems is seeking Systems Engineers (Validation & Verification) for a DoD–aerospace program. Roles are on-site across multiple locations including Seal Beach, CA, with a 12-month contract-to-permanent opportunity and a TS clearance requirement.

You will lead verification and validation, develop ICDs, manage requirements, and support system design, test, and integration using MBSE and agile methods. Python scripting and Jira/Confluence experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Currently active DoD Top Secret clearance is required.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or related field.

Responsibilities

• Leads Ground and System Level verification, validation, integration and test.
• Plans and implements requirements management processes, tools, risk and issue tracking.
• Develops and executes test plans, procedures, and verification reports.
• Writes requirements and ICDs for ground systems.
• Supports ConOps development, product design, and testing.
• Engages with scaled agile development processes and MBSE.
