Apex Systems seeks an Electrical/Mechanical/Systems/Facilities Engineer for Vandenberg SFB, CA. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, cleanroom support, and critical facility system repairs. You will monitor power, HVAC, fire detection, UPS, and related equipment, ensuring 24/7 readiness in a secure environment.

Must hold TS/SCI clearance and be able to work 2nd or 3rd shift, with on-site presence at Vandenberg Space Force Base. Strong documentation and collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• High School diploma with 4+ years of related experience.
• Able to read electrical drawings and P&IDs.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and cleanroom procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and emergency maintenance for facilities systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment using drawings and schematics.
• Support cleanroom operations and contamination control.
• Document work including logbooks and work orders.
• Coordinate with contractors and on-site teams as needed.
