Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent plus 6 years related education/experience.
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance required at time of application.
• Willing to work any shift and cover extended weeks as required.
• Hands-on knowledge of manufacturing operations and mechanical assembly.
• Reading drawings, process specs, and work orders is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist mechanical engineers in development, assembly and integration of space vehicle mechanical/electro-mechanical components and systems.
• Devise, fabricate and assemble new or modified components; participate in sub-system and system test development.
• Set up and test prototype and flight units and sub-assemblies under operational conditions.
