Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is hiring a Systems Analyst/IT Customer Support to support enterprise IT and file transfer operations in the Washington, DC area. You will act as a liaison between customers and the help desk, triage IT issues, and assist with asset management and file transfer processes.

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between the customer and the help desk.
• First point of contact for IT issues and needs, triaging before involving the help desk.
• Back up the asset management team with issuance of accessories and cables to customers and technicians.
• Review file transfer documentation and ensure signatures are present.
• Burn files to disk and move to the appropriate networks, notifying the customer upon completion.
• Maintain a log of all file transfers with required information.
