Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a Tier 2 System Administrator in the Washington, DC area. You will provide technical IT support, document solutions, and collaborate with engineers to resolve complex issues.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience), 3+ years in IT support or systems admin, and DoD 8140 IAT II compliance with US Citizenship and Top Secret/SCI eligibility. On-site location with full-time hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/CE/IT or related field; experience may substitute education.
• MINIMUM of 3 years in IT support or system administration roles.
• Familiarity with enterprise-level troubleshooting tools and technologies.
• Problem-solving mindset with great attention to detail and ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support by identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving issues in a timely manner.
• Document solutions, processes, and known issues for efficient troubleshooting.
