Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems seeks a Project Manager/Principal Project Manager for the Sentinel Program in Roy, Utah. You will serve as the primary liaison across projects and stakeholders, shaping plans, schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure timely, on-scope, and high-quality outcomes.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with requirements including DoD clearance eligibility and SAP access.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2 years related experience or Master’s with 0 years experience; or additional 4 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• U.S. citizen and ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.
• Ability to obtain and maintain SAP approval.
• At least 1 year of experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule.
• Experience in project management, execution and closeout; strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary liaison between projects and stakeholders; review status, manage schedules, and prepare reports.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans including work breakdown structures, schedules, and resource allocations.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks; ensure compliance with Earned Value Management standards.
• Communicate effectively, lead teams, and negotiate to manage stakeholder expectations.
