Job summary

RAND Corporation is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) in Pittsburgh to ensure DoD/IC compliance, manage SCI/SAP information systems, and implement STIGs for classified environments in coordination with the ISSM and Security Operations.

The role requires DoD 8570.01-M IAM Level 1 certification, at least three years in a classified setting (or seven years without a degree), strong auditing, vulnerability analysis, incident response, and clear written/oral communication.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a DoD 8570.01-M IAM level 1 certification.
• Knowledge of DoD, DISA, ICDs and IC security regs, policies, STIGs and laws.
• Experience with federal government network security processes.

Responsibilities

• Implement, monitor and maintain RAND’s Security Manual and DoD/IC STIGs for programs.
• Enforce corporate policies to support CI standards.
• Interface with clients on security of classified systems.
• Develop SSPs and addendums for facilities.
• Perform self-inspections and audit reviews.
