Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a DoD 8570.01-M IAM level 1 certification.
• Knowledge of DoD/IC regulations, policies, STIGs and laws.
• Extensive knowledge of federal government network security processes.
• Education in computer science or engineering for technical project managers.
• Technical background with software development and web technologies.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, multitasking.
• Familiar with encryption, forensics, penetration testing, and security analysis.
• Proficient with MS Office products.
• Understanding of operating systems and audit log aggregators.
• Able to configure devices, install apps, setup networks and troubleshoot.
• Excellent oral and written communication and customer service.
• Must be able to lift 30 lbs and pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Implements and maintains RAND’s Security Manual and procedures for DoD, IC, and SAP programs.
• Enforces corporate policies to support CI standards.
• Enforces STIG compliance for all applicable systems.
• Interfacing with clients on security of classified systems.
• Assist ISSM in establishing and improving IS security program.
• Prepare and sustain internal self-inspections.
• Conduct weekly audits and report findings to ISSM.
• Develop and implement System Security Plans (SSP) and addenda.
• Coordinate planning and upgrades for collateral and SCI/SAP systems.
• Provide budget inputs for collateral SCI/SAP systems.
