Job summary

Redwire Space Inc. is seeking an experienced Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support multiple classified information systems across DoD, Intelligence Community, and SAP environments.

Qualifications

• Experience with RMF and handling SAP/SCI environments is required.
• Experience with standalone/classified systems, air-gapped environments and SCIF operations is highly desirable.
• Strong ability to coordinate with program managers, engineers and security personnel.

Responsibilities

• Manage cybersecurity posture of classified information systems across RMF lifecycle.
• Certify and accredit networks and standalone systems per government standards.
• Develop and maintain System Security Plans (SSPs) and related docs reflecting requirements.
• Prepare and update POA&Ms, SARs, inventories, diagrams, and RMF artifacts.
• Support ATO/IATT and continuous monitoring for mission readiness.
• Conduct ongoing vulnerability testing using ACAS/Nessus; coordinate remediation.
• Perform DISA STIG reviews and assist with secure configuration implementation.
• Review engineering changes for cybersecurity impact; support change control.
• Maintain cybersecurity artifacts in eMASS or client repositories; oversee operations.
• Interact with government security officials to address issues and inspections.
• Develop facility procedures for handling media and classified information.
• Coordinate changes to classified components, environments and locations.
• Assist ISSM with incident reporting, documentation and corrective actions.
• Support secure media handling, COMSEC activities, and data management.
• Partner with engineering teams to embed security through all lifecycle stages.
