Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks an Electronics Engineer - Communications for on-site work in Palmdale, CA. The role focuses on LOS/BLOS communications, AESA antenna systems, and hands-on support during test events.

You will coordinate with engineers and field reps to ensure subsystem performance and integration success. The position requires strong RF knowledge, DoD top secret clearance, and the ability to travel up to 25% for program support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a STEM discipline with related engineering experience.
• Experience with RF signal chains and system integration of communication components.
• Hands-on experience with RF test equipment (oscilloscopes, analyzers, meters).
• Strong modulation/demodulation knowledge and troubleshooting skills.

Responsabilités

• Hands-on work with LOS and BLOS communication systems and AESA antennas.
• Provide engineering support and troubleshooting during test events.
• Direct Field Service Representatives for field maintenance and analysis.
• Lead investigations for root causes and corrective actions of subsystem issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve subsystem performance with engineering teams.
• Report subsystem status and risks to leadership to avoid cost or schedule impact.
• Conduct field maintenance of communications hardware.
