Job summary

RCG, Inc. is seeking an experienced Data Center Operations Team Lead in Washington, DC, to oversee critical infrastructure, coordinate Tier 3 support, and provide leadership for Data Center operations on an active federal contract.

The role requires an active Top-Secret clearance and the ability to manage daily and after-hours operations, security, and performance metrics for the Data Center environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on IT experience, including at least 3 years in a technical lead or team lead role.
• Experience supporting enterprise IT and/or Data Center operations.
• Experience providing advanced or Tier 3 technical support.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Government's daily and after-hours point of contact for the overall management and coordination of work performed under the assigned task.
• Lead Tier 3 Service Desk support.
• Provide operational reports, status updates, and performance metrics to the Program Manager or Deputy Program Manager.
• Coordinate and support hardware and operating system upgrades.
• Manage data distribution and storage activities.
• Oversee backup processes and support disaster recovery operations.
• Provide elevated technical support and escalation assistance for complex issues.
• Implement and maintain security measures to protect the Data Center environment.
• Support the creation, enforcement, and monitoring of government policies and procedures within the Data Center.
