Job summary

RCG, Inc. in Washington, DC is seeking an experienced Data Center Operations Team Lead to coordinate daily and after-hours Data Center activities, lead Tier 3 Service Desk and Data Center support, and ensure availability, security, and performance of critical infrastructure.

Candidates must be U.S. citizens with an active Top-Secret clearance. This role requires 8+ years in IT, including 3 years in a technical lead position, and strong communication and collaboration with government stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8+ years hands-on IT experience, including at least 3 years in a technical lead or team lead role.
• Experience supporting enterprise IT and/or Data Center operations.
• Experience providing advanced or Tier 3 technical support.
• Strong English communication and interpersonal skills; capable of working with government stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Government's daily and after-hours point of contact for the assigned task.
• Lead Tier 3 Service Desk support.
• Provide operational reports, status updates, and performance metrics to the Program Manager.
• Coordinate hardware and operating system upgrades.
• Oversee data distribution, storage, and disaster recovery operations.
• Ensure physical and logical security measures for the Data Center.
