Job summary

Regions Bank is looking for a Mortgage Loan Officer to originate residential mortgage loans through our branch network. You will handle applications, evaluate credit, and maintain active communication with clients to secure timely documentation.

You will leverage referral partners and sales calls to grow loan volume, cross-sell products, and ensure compliance with federal regulations. This full-time role offers commission-based incentives and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year mortgage lending experience with proven production.
• Experience developing external business via referral partners (realtors, builders, financial planners).

Responsibilities

• Completes mortgage applications for submission to processing and underwriting.
• Evaluates loan requests and analyzes financial data.
• Maintains contact with loan customers and informs progress.
• Structures loan to comply with lending practices and regulations.
• Develops and executes a marketing plan to grow loan business.
• Handles calls from customers about loan products and qualification information.
• Cross-sells bank products and services.
