Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking a DeWALT Customer Service Representative for 1st shift on-site in Addison, IL. The role handles pricing, cataloging, and order accuracy while engaging customers at the counter and over the phone.

Responsibilities include answering product questions, driving incremental sales, and resolving issues with prompt follow-up. Strong MS Office skills and experience in a retail/service environment are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role within retail/service.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday full-time with additional hours as needed.
• Bilingual proficiency preferred.
• Excellent MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Handle pricing, identifying items as a catalog number and description, verifies quantity, and extending all items on customer orders.
• Answer product and service questions; drives incremental sales and suggests other products.
• Conduct customer sales and service both at the counter and via phone.
• Service customers on product application, features, benefits and proper handling and maintenance; sell services and programs.
• Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause; explaining the best solution; expediting correction; following up to ensure resolution.
