Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking a DeWALT Service Technician to repair portable power tools and equipment on-site in Norwood, MA. You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults, maintain a clean work area, and complete service orders with accurate documentation.

You will work with a product services team, handling repairs, inventory control, and safety testing to ensure reliable operation and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret mechanical diagrams and wiring schematics.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in tools and equipment.
• Strong math and measurement skills for parts and tolerances.
• Comfort working on-site in a production-like environment.

Responsibilities

• Repair portable electric and pneumatic tools and outdoor equipment.
• Troubleshoot and disassemble units to inspect components for wear or defects.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow safety procedures.
• Inspect, analyze, and repair tools for safe operation; perform testing after repair.
• Complete work orders with parts, labor, and customer information; process pricing.
• Manage inventory and ensure accurate parts availability.
• Meet daily productivity goals while preserving quality.
