Job summary

Magna Exteriors is seeking an Apprentice to learn tooling maintenance and mold repair in a production environment. You will service and repair tooling, read engineering drawings, and operate general machine tools while performing welding tasks as needed.

The role requires basic SPC knowledge, good math skills, and the ability to work safely in a manufacturing setting, with opportunities for overtime and career development.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a technical field with Machining and Welding emphasis.
• One year manufacturing experience.
• Ability to operate overhead crane to move and set-up tools.
• Strong math skills and basic SPC understanding.

Responsibilities

• Learn to service and maintain tooling and molds, and perform maintenance and repairs.
• Read drawings and prints to guide tool work and mold assembly.
• Operate machines such as lathes, milling machines, drill presses and grinders.
• Weld (MIG/TIG/STICK) as required and assist with tool transport and setup.
