Job summary

Magna Exteriors is seeking a Tool Maker Apprentice in Nashville, IL, to learn repair, maintenance and engineering changes on production molds. You will service tooling, read drawings, and operate lathes, mills, welders, and related equipment under supervision.

The role emphasizes teamwork, problem solving and accurate documentation in a manufacturing setting, with opportunities to grow into advanced tooling positions.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in machining and welding or pursuing it.
• One year of manufacturing experience.
• Strong math skills and understanding of SPC principles.

Responsibilities

• Learn to perform repairs, maintenance and engineering changes on production molds.
• Service and maintain tooling and molds, read drawings and prints.
• Operate tools and machines like lathes, milling machines, drill presses and grinders.
• Weld as required (MIG/TIG/STICK) and assist with tool setup and transport.
