Job summary

Whirlpool Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance Leader to drive safety, quality, productivity, and engagement across the plant. You will steer maintenance priorities, coach teams, and develop short- and long-term plans with budget considerations.

The role requires a BS in engineering and 1+ year leadership in manufacturing, with SAP PM and lean experience as advantages. Travel and shift flexibility may be needed to meet plant goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering required.
• 1+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with SAP PM is preferred.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive availability of production equipment and tooling.
• Identify and implement productivity projects in maintenance.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities and regulatory compliance.
• Implement lean initiatives: Standardized Work, Quality, 5S.
• Develop and manage capital spending plans and justifications.
• Oversee external contractors for repairs and projects.
• Collaborate with Maintenance Manager to shift toward proactive maintenance.
• Facilitate departmental training and knowledge transfer.
• Adapt to changing shifts/departments as needed.
