Job summary

Whirlpool Corporation is seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer in Wisconsin to lead the division’s standard cost and ECN/ECR systems, directing manufacturing operation routings and direct labor standards through data-driven methods. The role focuses on cost reductions, ergonomic safety, and integrating new products and processes across manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong communication, planning, math, data analysis, and computer skills.
• Experience in manufacturing and project management.
• Lean, Six Sigma, and World Class Manufacturing (WCM) experience.
• MTM certification preferred.
• CAD tools experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support and lead ECN/ECR process as Manufacturing Engineering Lead.
• Create and maintain manufacturing operation routings.
• Establish Direct Labor Standards and Direct Data through engineering methods analysis.
• Analyze production processes to identify inefficiencies and improvements.
• Assist with new product line workstation development and MTM documentation.
• Design plant layouts and workflow analyses to improve product flow.
• Optimize capacity, reduce WIP, and minimize expenses via data analysis and line balancing.
• Forecast capacity and determine capital investments to support growth.
• Prepare resource requirements and cost estimates for new processes or products.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
