Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC is seeking a Tooling Manager to lead quality, safety, delivery, and cost goals for the Tooling area. This role reports to the Senior Manager of Technical Services and is based 100% onsite in Columbia, SC.

You will manage tooling performance, develop the team, and drive lean manufacturing initiatives while coordinating with EHS, Engineering, and Operations to meet customer requirements and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical, business, or engineering field.
• Minimum 5 years of tooling management experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
• Demonstrated operations management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead tooling performance to deliver quality, safety, and cost goals.
• Set area objectives and provide coaching to meet targets.
• Direct and develop shop floor teams and first-line supervisors.
• Oversee Tooling Engineers in tooling design and modifications.
• Collaborate with EHS, Product Assurance, Engineering and Maintenance.
