100Hires, Inc. in Columbia, SC, is seeking a Tooling Manager to lead quality, safety, delivery, productivity, and cost goals in the Tooling area.

You will report to the Senior Manager of Technical Services and work 100% onsite. You will manage tooling performance, develop improvement strategies for on-time and in-full delivery of high-quality products, supervise Tooling Engineers and Team Leaders, collaborate with EHS, Engineering, Maintenance, and drive lean projects while controlling the area

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience in technical/engineering/business.
• Minimum 5 years of tooling management experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.

Responsabilités

• Lead tooling performance and develop strategies to improve on-time and in-full delivery.
• Direct and develop area personnel, including Team Leaders and Tooling Engineers.
• Collaborate with EHS, Product Assurance, Engineering, Maintenance, and Operational Excellence.
• Manage off-site vendors and ensure supply chain for outsourced tooling.
• Oversee lean manufacturing projects and manage area budget and staffing.
