The Tooling Coordinator works with Operations, Engineering, and Planning to optimize tooling flow, manage storage, and support production with timely tooling solutions and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Must have basic math and computer skills, including email.
• Forklift license required.
• Strong mechanical skills and a focus on safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate tool production and maintenance with Operations, Engineering, and Planning.
• Closely manage nozzle inventory and repairs.
• Maintain tool and fixture locations in PartInfo and keep records accurate.
• Communicate tool storage needs to management (skids, racking).
• Complete daily safety checks on equipment (Forklift, Hoists).
• Create maintenance work orders for machines leaking oil.
• Assist with identification and disposition of obsolete tooling.
• Support floor operators with production issues as needed.
• Communicate tool dimension information with production and engineering teams.
• Use time management and organization to complete tasks on time.
• Maintain or exceed production standards through organized planning.
• Follow safety policies and complete required documentation.
• Meet attendance policy requirements.
• Contribute to team effort as directed.
