Sanmina Turtle Lake, Wisconsin is a full-service plastic injection molding, electronics integration and design service facility. They coordinate tool production, maintenance, and inventory, while ensuring safety and documentation standards are maintained.

The Tooling Coordinator works with Operations, Engineering, and Planning to optimize tooling flow, manage storage, and support production with timely tooling solutions and process improvements.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate tool production and maintenance with Operations, Engineering, and Planning.
• Closely manage nozzle inventory and repairs.
• Maintain tool and fixture locations in PartInfo and keep records accurate.
• Communicate tool storage needs to management (skids, racking).
• Complete daily safety checks on equipment (Forklift, Hoists).
• Create maintenance work orders for machines leaking oil.
• Assist with identification and disposition of obsolete tooling.
• Support floor operators with production issues as needed.
• Communicate tool dimension information with production and engineering teams.
• Use time management and organization to complete tasks on time.
• Maintain or exceed production standards through organized planning.
• Follow safety policies and complete required documentation.
• Meet attendance policy requirements.
• Contribute to team effort as directed.

Summary

The Tooling Coordinator provides support to Operations by coordinating and/or performing the preventative maintenance, storage, and staging of production tooling. The Tooling Coordinator also oversees inventory management of various components. Cleaning and other duties such as mold set up and process auditing as assigned.

What You’ll Do

• Work with Operations, Engineering, and Planning to coordinate tool production & maintenance.
• Closely manage nozzle inventory and repairs.
• Manage the tool and fixture locations in PartInfo, keeping them updated and accurate.
• Communicate any tool storage needs to management (skids, racking, etc).
• Complete Safety Checks on various equipment, daily (Forklift, Hoists).
• Create maintenance work orders for any machines that are leaking oil using a computer.
• Assists with identification and disposition of obsolete tooling.
• Supports operators on the floor with production issues, as needed.
• Communicates tool dimension information with the production and engineering team.
• Utilizes time management and organizational skills to ensure tasks are completed on time.
• Maintains or exceeds production standards through efficient organization and planning.
• Follows and complies with safety policies and procedures.
• Accurately completes all required documentation.
• Meets attendance policy requirements.
• Contributes to team effort by assisting in areas as needed or directed.

What You’ll Bring

• Fork truck license will be required.
• Strong mechanical skills and strong emphasis on working safely is required.
