Job summary

Menzner Hardwoods is seeking a qualified Lead Tooling Engineer at our Marathon, WI location. This full-time role reports to the Sr. Project Engineer and will oversee tooling needs for the moulding department.

You will program and operate tooling machines (waterjet and automated profile grinder), create profile drawings, and collaborate with scheduling to optimize efficiency. Strong CAD/CAM experience and leadership abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in an engineering discipline.
• Experience using CAD and/or CAM software.
• Strong analytical ability to analyze and solve problems.
• Excellent organization and time management; able to take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Maintain tooling needs of the moulding department.
• Program and operate tooling machines including a waterjet and automated profile grinder.
• Collaborate with scheduling to ensure tooling is prepared on time to optimize efficiency.
• Create drawings of new profiles as requested by Sales.
• Monitor and order supplies for the tooling department.
• Lead tooling room employees to maximize department efficiency.
