Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Tooling Engineer to lead tooling development for ductile iron casting programs. Proficiency in SolidWorks and MAGMA is required, with hands-on experience in casting processes and materials.

You will build tooling, run simulations, and drive yield improvements while collaborating with customers and internal teams on new product introductions and process enhancements.

Qualifications

• Two+ years hands-on CAD modeling, blueprint reading and DFx/DFM experience.
• Foundry, tooling design, casting simulation or CNC machining experience is a strong plus.
• Strong problem solver who communicates well across teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and refine tooling using SolidWorks to support ductile iron casting programs.
• Run casting simulations in MAGMA to validate designs before production.
• Own yield improvement and continuous improvement across the casting process.
• Partner with customers and account managers on new product development.
• Support quoting, product launches, testing and validation from start to finish.
• Bring new technology and process improvements into operations.
