Job summary

You will own yield and continuous improvement across the casting process, collaborate with customers and account managers on new product development, and support quoting, launches, testing, and validation while introducing new technology.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in engineering or related field; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years hands-on CAD modeling, blueprint reading and design for manufacturability.
• Manufacturing background required; foundry, tooling design, casting simulation or CNC machining experience is a strong plus.
• Strong problem solver who communicates well and works across teams easily.

Responsibilities

• Build and refine tooling using SolidWorks in support of ductile iron casting programs
• Run casting simulations in MAGMA to validate designs before they hit the floor
• Own yield improvement and continuous improvement work across the casting process
• Partner directly with customers and account managers on new product development
• Support quoting, product launches, testing and validation from start to finish
• Bring new technology and process improvements into the operation
